SPEMA is a small group of free-improvising joke- and soundmakers from Saarbrücken, Berlin and Braunschweig bringing their rampant music and sudden mistakes to places outside and inside of everything. The instruments in use are ranging from home-made windinstruments and costum-build cymbals and percussion to prepared trombone, guitar and doublebass next to found scrap, huffy voices and excentric lo-fi tools. The musical game develops from overall surprises, analog soundtransports, inordinate communication and uncertain listening thresholds, always respecting the atmospheric dust of place and time.
